The Cottage

The Cottage has been created inside a stone barn with the lounge dominating the first floor to ensure the best views of the surrounding countryside. The lounge with its beams, pitched roof and central wood burning stove has an open staircase going down into the kitchen/dining area, and the main bedroom area.

The whole is an open plan design with only the entrance hall and bathroom as separate areas. The slate floor downstairs was designed and laid by a lakeland craftsman.

The Cottage can easily accomodate 4 people- 1 double bed downstairs and 2 divans upstairs. The fitted kitchen area has a 4 ringed electric cooker and oven, fridge, electric kettle, coffee machine and microwave.

There is a modern bathroom with wash basin set in a polished slate surface and a bath and electric shower.
Heating is by wood fire and oil fired central heating. Duvets and linen are provided and colour tv.
