The Old Farmhouse

The original 17th Century Farmhouse is on the opposite side of the main courtyard from the cottage and is attached at right angles to the large converted barn where the family live.

The farmhouse can accommodate 2 - 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms, one double-bedded and one large family room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. This bedroom is at the end of the property and enjoys views across to Skiddaw and the Lorton Valley.

The kitchen has been converted from the old granary and has plenty of cupboard space. There is an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine and drier, electric kettle and coffee machine.

The large bathroom on the ground floor-unique in design and size includes a bath and twin wash basins set in polished slate.

Heating is by open fire and central heating, and all the windows are double glazed. Duvets and linen are provided and colour t.v.
